Privacy Policy
iScript Lab respects user privacy and complies with relevant regulations.
1. Personal Information Collected
The iScript app does not transmit or collect any personal information (name, email, contact information, etc.) to its own servers.
However, the following device identification information may be collected for advertising services (Google AdMob):
- Advertising Identifier (IDFA): Used to provide personalized ads.
2. Data Storage Method (Local-First)
2.1 Local Storage
All learning data and script files are stored only in the device’s internal storage (IndexedDB).
2.2 File Backup Feature
- Users can save learning data as a JSON file using the ‘Backup’ button in app settings.
- Share function allows saving backup files to desired locations like iCloud Drive, Downloads folder, etc.
- File Restore: Use FilePicker to select previously saved backup files to restore data.
2.3 Data Deletion
Deleting the
app will also delete all learning data stored on the device. Data recovery is impossible without backup files.
3. External API Usage
3.1 AI Analysis Service
Text data may be transmitted to external AI API for AI analysis and Text-to-Speech (TTS) features.
- User’s personal API Key (BYOK) is used.
- Developers cannot view or store this data.
- Data transmitted: Learning sentence text
3.2 Google AdMob
- Ad Display: Banner ads (fixed at bottom) and interstitial ads (when starting scripts, moving to Analytics screen) are displayed.
- Advertising Identifier (IDFA) usage: Used to provide personalized ads.
- User Control: Personalized ads can be limited in device settings (Settings → Privacy → Tracking).
4. Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information
- In-app advertising (Google AdMob) and performance analysis
- AI-based language learning features (External AI API)
- App operation and service improvement
5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
This app does not provide users’ personal information to external parties in principle.
However, identification information may be provided to the following companies for advertising services:

- Learning Data: Retained on device until user deletes the app or data.

This app outsources personal information processing to the following for service provision:

8. User Rights
Users can exercise the following rights:
- Data Deletion: Scripts and learning records can be deleted anytime in the app.

9. Protection of Children’s Personal Information
This app does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 14.
10. Changes to Privacy Policy
This policy may be revised according to laws or service changes, and users will be notified through in-app announcements.
